Mölnlycke Health Care manufactures a number of products that protect the skin from abrasions, friction or while undergoing certain procedures such as radiation therapy. 

Mepitel Film can be used on areas of fragile skin such the backs of hands, forearms or lower limbs to prevent knocks and tears to the skin of elderly patients. When applied to the skin prior to radiation therapy, it can help prevents common skin reactions. 

Mepilex Lite is a thin, conformable foam that gently tacks to sensitive skin to act as a barrier between clothes and areas of friction.  The unique silicone Safetac® interface provides a gentle solution for very fragile skin.
